The 2010 NCR Dolphins

The first shall be last and the last ....well, shall be fourth. The NCR Dolphins, which lost all 5 dual meets this season, made up for some of their losses by finishing fourth overall out of 6 teams in the PrinceMont League "C" Divisionals this past Saturday at Northridge. Overall the kids did very well, and should be pleased with their performances.

The Boys 200 Medley Relay team of James Mehalick, Patrick Sheerin, Billy Dunn and Michael Dunn set a new NCR AWAY MEET record (2:13.51) in the very first event. Nate Donoghue won the 9-10 50 Free in an outstanding swim and set a Northridge Pool record by doing so. Well Done, Nate. The Boys 200 Free Relay team of Nate Donoghue, Alexander Foly, Michael Dunn and Danny Sheerin stunned the crowd by finishing far out front in first. That race epitomized the whole day, as they stole it from Northridge with 4 excellant and exciting swims.

On the Girls side, great races and first places from Hannah Betman in the 15-18 50 Fly, Rocky Parry in the 13-14 50 Free and Elizabeth Mehalick in the 11-12 50 Breast. Well done, Ladies!
